The Staking of Melonferatu

A few weeks ago, I bought a baby watermelon from the little independent grocery store down the street. Not having a craving for watermelon for a while, I kept it in my fridge, hoping it would not roll out and smash onto my toe when I opened the fridge door.

Today was bright and sunny and warm, and I wanted melon. But the melon in my fridge had been in there for two weeks...would be still be good? In order to find out, I went to the Internet. And came across...
