Creativity seems to be cyclical with me--I go through dormant phases, consumer phases, and productive phases. Just got out of productive phase--made lots of jewelry and wrote a story which I haven't posted yet. Am in consumer phase--keep going to Border's and buying books. Buying new books makes me feel better, which is, if shallow, at least shallow on an intellectual level.
I know there are a couple of people who actually enjoy reading my LJournal on an aesthetic level and not just a personal level. To them, I apologize for being so boring and self-involved lately. And I also recommend Flag On The Moon, the personal blog of Jack Masters, the creator of CastleZZT. This should appeal to people who also like Crispin Glover, math in the abstract, New Wave SF, outsider art, and pretending that other people are actually installation pieces. His blog doesn't have anything to do with any of the above, but something about his comics and meanderings reminds me of them.
