getting very dark out

Nothing interesting has happened to me this entire week. Nor have I thought of anything interesting to say. Not even a rant like I said I would.

It is nice out, though.
Squirrels are playing in the...quad thing. I watched one of them for about thirty minutes. Very graceful, they are. Jumping across puddles and such.

Also thought up fic ideas. Untitled not!evil-doppelganger fic is coming along nicely and now has cameos. Untitled RPS is not coming along so well. Re-A Mary Sue not coming along so well, either. Am planning to rent the Re-A movies available at Video Land for inspiration as soon as I get some money. I had to cash in my laundry quarters so I'd have some money for frantic candy bar meals.

Mom and Brian and Grandma and Grandpa are coming up for Easter tomorrow. We are going to a casino buffet. Gambling on Easter has a nice Judas-esque flavor to it, as nyghtshayde pointed out.
This also means that I will get my laptop back, along with my fics and music.

I've been saying for years that my little brother is the type of person who would light his own shoes on fire just to see what would happen.
He's proven me wrong by lighting our mother's toilet on fire instead.

I need a new icon. The default rainbow yin-yang one is a result of messing around on Paint. The other two are music-related: the "Liverpool Fantasy" one refers to a novel by Larry Kirwan about the Beatles and their lives if they'd never gotten famous (it's really quite good and well-thought-out), and the one with the fist refers to the Tom Robinson Band, a British polit-punk band from 1978 that nobody else seems to have heard of.
This is a rather momentous event, as I've had my yin-yang thingy ever since I started this little journal. I do not change icons lightly. I'm just sick of this one.
Any suggestions for icon themes? Otherwise it'll be a lot of me messing around on Paint and I'll end up with something that looks like it came from CastleZZT.

I have a billionn icons I can't use cause I can only use 3 at a time . . . or I could make you one. I'm not the best icon-maker (obviously) but the offer stands. Glad to have ya back. And don't sweat the mary sure, I'm running the damn thing and I haven't even decided the submission deadline or anything. *pets*

Oh yeah...I did come up with a few new ones. *g* I think I want to do a couple of animal ones...or maybe some tropical ones...dunno.

You have anything specific you want? Or you want surprises?
