It's not so much warmer out than it was a few days ago, but it's sunny and the sky is vast and the snow is very slowly melting. Spring is coming. We've made it through winter, and it wasn't all that bad this year.

I feel expansive and light. My car's left wheel has a bearing loose, my kitchen sink is broken and leaking, my shower is dripping, but it's almost spring and I have homemade hummus with roasted red peppers and everything feels all right.

I remember learning about humus in science class and getting really concerned because I thought that I was eating nutrient-rich dirt every time I went to La Shish.
