Kid killed himself this weekend. Some junior. Mark somebody.
The whole school is in mourning. I suppose he may have been popular. Either that, or there are an awful lot of very sensitive people who feel like hanging out in the library.
It's always sad when someone kills themselves, especially when they're young. Life of promise, no warning signs, people wearing blue ribbons cause blue was his favorite color.
Actually, this makes two this year. Josh Swanson died in a car crash and there was a big to-do about it. They're dropping like flies.
I don't mean to make fun. I just happen to be the type of person who makes jokes to alleviate tension, and it doesn't help that I have a sick sense of humor sometimes. But I didn't know either of them at all, and I have my own problems.
It's very sad. But I'm not.

okay. the thing is, that sometimes its okay for there to be tension. and you need to be supporitve of those that are sad even if you are not.

i can understand how humor can be peoples way of dealing with shit going on around them. i sometimes do the same thing.

I'm with you. I find it hard to feel bad for people I don't know, and sometimes even for people I do know. I've got my own problems to work out! But yeah, I've got a despicable sense of humour as well, which probably ends up making me look like a real bastard, but oh well. It was worth it!
