Got the difficult half of my Grammar project done. The teacher's cool, it can stand to be a day late. Going home to shower and sleep for a couple of hours.

I'm going to hang out with Kathryn today for just about the last time probably ever--she's going to move to Grand Rapids with her family, and get a job, and it's not that far away but I don't even know. I'm really going to miss her. We meet every week to have lunch and just hang out and talk for a few hours, and I know her just about as well as I know anybody--I even know all about her family, although I've never really met any of them.
I'm the only person who calls her "Kathryn" anymore; everybody else calls her "Mouse." She's quiet and asexual and doesn't drink and likes D&D and romance novels, and she's really good at math, and smart, and has a great sense of humor, and likes holding doors for people and carrying things, and she won't even take an aspirin if she has a headache but she faints if she sees a little blood. Her family is incredibly weird and very close-knit, and even when I'm flaky and forgetful and weird and just want somebody to rant to, she's patient and nice and cheerful. I'm really going to miss her.

I am three days without sleep thanks to a wrenched back from mowing the lawn. My brain is loopy. It's my birthday. Amuse me as I waddle back and forth in an attempt to find some comfort from the pain. More later. Sorry to sound so, so Jewy. (You vant I should heff done sometink else?)
