One more thing before I answer [livejournal.com profile] drworm's questions, a couple of which are taking a long time for some really silly reasons. You remember that letter I wrote to Preacher Rick? Well, he finally responded:

Dear Rachel,

I submitted this to 4 people who do not know anything about you. This is one response I had received from a lady we know who interprets dreams.

Preacher Rick

"There is alot of stuff there - it seems to me like a vision of hell where nothing is as it should be and there is "horror" after "horror". The creature that sounded lonely and couldn't be understood - who knows what humans doomed to hell will be like when no longer under God's hand and not subject to the laws of creation where we were made in His image?"

Which is not what I was expecting as a response at all. The Hell part, yes...but the rest is actually kind of interesting and twisted. And is giving me so many good ideas for all sorts of stories and things. Thank you, unknown Christian dream lady.

"Baby squids, $3.99 each." At the pet store today. I figure that should mean something right? Heheheh.

Well, so much for the thought that he might have read Lovecraft and cottoned on to you. Just make sure he doesn't, you know, do something like kidnap you and kill you trying to save yuor soul. I don't trust fundies.

Yeah, I was a little worried that he'd try to perform an exorcism or something...but E-mail isn't much, and I haven't seen him screaming outside recently. I think it's getting a little cold for him. So, no worries.

I am disappointed. *sad face*

I do admit that the last line of her very slight analysis is an intriguing notion, though.
