happy burnt meat and blowing off your head day

I wrote! I produced! I was creative! The fic: The Places You Never Knew (Are Just Where They’ve Always Been). Contains much mild ranting about music. Because it's Marty. When I write about George, I refer to old-school SF. They're two things I know a lot about. If I wrote about Doc, I'd probably refer to famous scientists. If I wrote about Lorraine...well, I'm working on one, and it involves old movies because she doesn't remind me of anything else. I can't imagine what I'd refer to if I wrote about Biff.
Spent the whole day watching "Twilight Zone" episodes. I love "Twilight Zone." Particularly "It's a Good Life." The original short story was creepy as hell. I'm going to start telling people that I'm wishing them into the cornfield.
I also read the first half of "Brimstone" and I could only read the first half because I had to take a break from the action. WOW. Man. They are just so great together. I do not approve of Hayward and D'Agosta because the way they got together seems too much like Author Magic instead of actual characterization. And the count (Fosco? Fusco? The exact name escapes me, and I'm too lazy to reach three feet for the book) is amusing. And what's up with Constance? Why is she necessary at all? Is she Robin to Pendergast's albino Batman? Why do I want to write Constance/Corrie? Because I need to get laid, that's why. Oh, and I really like Smithback still even though he hasn't shown up yet. And I decree that authorslash should be written by someone who's better at it than me. Come on, please?
If nobody comes over tomorrow, I mean today, I'm going to finish "Brimstone" and then watch Daryn's movies and then put some stuff on Skyehawke. If somebody comes over, all bets are off.

HahahahaHAHAHA! Oh man, then just wait till you come upon Viola... you ain't seen authorial Divine Will until you've seen her and Pendergast together. *rolls eyes sadly* Clearly, it got too gay for someone in power... damn them. As if just adding in random women could make it un-gay! Pshaw!

I'm not even touching that one.

You know, I had the same Batman reaction to Constance. I think it was that word, "ward". I was so bad I even mentioned it in a email to Doug & Linc. Sigh.
>>>wait till you come upon Viola... <<<
*shudder* Man alive. I'm still hoping that Aloysius's attraction to Mary SueViola turns out to be some sort of twisted plot thing.

Ooh, oooh! Did you see the one where Shatner encounters the man in a fuzzy bear suit? That one is just too funny.

Dang, they showed that one? Nope, I must have been eating dinner or something.
They did have commercials for Twilight Zone episodes on DVD, which I'm planning to get sometime soon. Well, when I have money.

Well for me it was on around 11.30am, but yeah. (I only know that because I had to do something @ 12.)

Cute story!

And I have only seen the first movie like once. But this was very cute. I love the musical references. I adore the petting. Mmm. *thinks*
