okay, I completely forgot that while I have been doing census work and griping about shit and going to cons,
drworm, who's my boyfriend and who's really awesome, in case you've missed me talking about him ever, has also been doing things. Actually, I haven't forgotten, but it's been such a pain in the ass just to update LJ recently that I've barely had the energy to talk about myself.
ANYWAY. Recently he went to Toronto with his Medieval Drama class to perform a play wherein he was Judas. This is what he looked like as Judas. That is him blowing a kiss to the Pharisees and making an innuendo that was actually in the script ("now take him manly"). He is an excellent Judas and has a great interpretation of the character, and he put his heart into the performance and I am very proud of him.
His birthday was on the 18th, which I kind of sort of passed by because we are lax about things like birthdays and I'm putting together a package with things to send to him at some point. Now he's 25. Which is a quarter of a century! Which is quite impressive! And he had a good birthday anyway and felt very loved, which is very good because he is loved and deserves to be loved and is just wonderful. I know that gushing about your significant other can get really boring, but...really, he's wonderful, and we've been together for about three and a half years and been friends for probably twice that, and he's been an amazing influence on me and says I've been good for him, which is good because, well. Yeah. :) <3
