My Internet is going to be disconnected for a while, starting I'm not sure when. I don't have the $130 to pay the bill. It might be tonight or next week. Fortunately, I'm starting a new job as a telephone survey person today, so I should be able to get everything back up and running in a couple of weeks when I get my first full-week paycheck.

This is a pre-emptive "see you later" and also an explanation for anyone I regularly IM with as to why I may suddenly not be on for a while.

(everything else that happened today only reinforced my conviction that we're living in a sci-fi story. We are. Nobody can tell me different. Is the moon still there?)

All the best, hon. :) Hopefully, I'll still be here when you get back.

And the moon comment ... it had me looking out the window a moment. *facepalm*

See you when you get back, darlin'!

I hope to see you here again soon (are you on Facebook?)

The other night I saw a program about Judaism in Britain. It was fascinating. Leaving aside religious issues, the culture seems to me to be a marvelous way to be a family, or a nation - especially one that has had to live dispersed among other nations.

Watching kids acting out bible Torah stories was marvelous, too. Issues that I am well aware of but which never emerge in the minds of most people in churches were right there. How remarkable to think that when performing the roles of Abraham and Isaac, they boys were acting out family history.

Moon's still there. So's Earth. Which means we've only got a disappointed me.
