Block! Kick! Punch! Kablam!

I took my yellowbelt test in Hapkido today, and did not make it. We were tested on a scale of 90 points, 3 possible for each technique: blocks, punches, strikes, kicks, re-grabs, falling, and miscellaneous defense. You had to get a score of 60 to pass, and I got a 52. Part of the problem was my stance (too square), as well as getting confused on the re-grabs (different ways to pull someone, different stances), and not being able to do a roll (like a somersault, but you pop up at the end ready to go). The prof said I was a good student and had improved immensely, though, so I have hope.
Next up: I'm baking a Mexican wedding cake for my Non-Western Lit final project, and writing a 7-page paper on it. This should be fun and TASTY!
