no more pencils

Just turned in my very last paper as an undergrad EVER. \o/

Freed's class final was going into teams and making up other questions for other teams to answer for a prize of candy. We named ours "The Gravity's Rainbows." I made up a question about the symbolism of Babel in some of the books we've read (turns out that lots of postmodernist books which involve the idea of information USE THE TOWER OF BABEL AS A METAPHOR! WHO KNEW!), and argued with him over whether it symbolized the idea of informational chaos or was a metaphor for the loss of the transcendental signified. Perhaps BOTH!!!

Now I need to go get my cap and gown and then it's time for fun with chemicals with my friend Ashley. Ashley is a girl I've had a bunch of classes with and was in Poetry Collective with. She's really cool and has been a lot of fun to hang out with.

I'm going to miss Poetry Collective and Fiction Collective. I've gotten to know so many of the people in it, and they like me and value my input, and they're just an awesome crowd to play poetry games with. I hope I can find other people just as cool to play poetry games with someday.

I don't know what I'm going to do for my year-or-so of not having school, but I'm excited. I think I'm going to end up writing acafen papers for the lolz and practice. :/ And reading books that aren't assigned. and hey, maybe I'll start responding to the entries of people on my Flist again with greater frequency! ALL THE TIME! YOU WILL NOT BE RID OF ME HAHAHAHAHAAH!
