Have you seen the "The Life and Loves of a She-Devil" miniseries? It follows the book much more closely and has Tom Baker as a creepy perv priest. When I was an impressionable young `un it aired on A&E a lot. Dunno if it's out on region 1 DVD yet, but it's out on DVD in the UK *hugs multiregion DVD player*
