I have the final draft of "Time Is A Wave And A Particle" up. It's another "Back to the Future" fanfic.
It's on the vanilla comm.
It's on FFN.
And even on Skyehawke.
Collect them all!

I'm so proud of this story it makes me sick. This is the one that I've been poking at [livejournal.com profile] ghostgecko about beta-ing, and he finally did, and he said he really liked it. The absolute best feeling in the world is when someone you really, really respect says they think something you've done is good. Let's hope other people feel the same way about it.
I really have to write some more original stuff. [livejournal.com profile] diraskyria is writing all these wonderful [livejournal.com profile] aryneth stories and I really don't have a framework for most of my originals. Maybe I should start in on that Bookbat-spawned story again, I keep getting new ideas. Or...man, I don't know. Maybe I should start writing some serious erotica. Why doesn't the CMU English department offer any courses on how to write erotica? Possible topics for lectures: "Penis, Cock, or One-Eyed Trouser Snake? Names For the Male Organ and How They Affect Your Writing." Or, "Fans Are Fucking Crazy: How To Pick a Good Fandom to Write Slash In." Or, "It's Not Porn, Goddammit! How to Defend Your Art From Critics." Or, "How To Tell When You Need To Stop Writing and Just Get Laid."

On another note, went shopping with Aunt Barbie today. Aunt Barbie is my requisite wacky aunt. Every girl should have one. We went to Value Village and got some very funky clothes for me, including the coolest boots in the world, a pair of snakeskin pants (not real snake, but they're kind of tight...sadly, the zipper is broken), a black dress that looks vaguely gothy, because I need something a little gothy, and a gold-purple shimmery thing that I probably don't have anywhere to wear, but was cheap and pretty and fits me really well. Also, some skirts. I've decided to start wearing more skirts. Oh, and the world's ugliest sweater. This thing has the type of pattern that you would see if you pressed on your eyeballs for way too long. It looks like something you'd find on an acid trip. It's horrendously ugly and I had to get it. My major sartorial goal is to look like the world's richest bag lady. I may take pictures of this stuff later.
I think I'm starting to develop dreadlocks.

I had a wacky aunt once...

...but she died a week after my brother. And she'd pretty much lost all her wonderful wackiness to old age, anger and cynicism. It was a shame. She was great in her wacky days.

You do need to write erotica. *g* You need to write some and post it to Blue Irises. I've been giving challenges. So few people have responded to them. Hells, I haven't even responded to my latest one (from last week)...winding up with the sniffles doesn't do much for my mood to write good smut. LOL

And yes. There should be classes taught for writing erotica. I've seriously given thought to writing a How To Wrote Erotica book with some hardcore sections of how NOT to write erotica. Such as words that shouldn't be used unless you're from Victorian Era England.

This would be incredibly useful. I highly suggest you make that a project eventually.

I am going to write some for Blue Irises soon, I promise...eventually. As soon as I stop blushing and fidgeting about writing anything more than PG-13. Gahhhhh.

It is a project...I just need to figure out how to write it. How to start it and whatnot. It's going to be a project that'll take me a while to actually put together and I really want to get some erotica published in print (soon soon...I'm supposed to have a copy of that...publication in the mail) first, too. I will probably put out a request from others as well when I begin working on the erotica book...mostly for the what words should/shouldn't be used. Have a chapter of lists. :)

You can write something more PG-13. I have confidence in you. You could even make PG-13 erotica, you know. I've read some stuff that's so...innocent almost, but still so erotic. Very amazing stuff. And you're already an amazing writer...
