And on the other side...We abhorred Trillian with a fiery vengeance. It kept crashing on us, wouldn't load properly, mucked up our system, and we finally had to exorcise it (I mean literally, we uninstalled it and then chanted over the computer and threw salt on the monitor) to make it GO. AWAY.
In other news...depending on the colors of said earrings, have you thought about checking out craftygoths? I think that's the name of the comm, anyway. If not, do one of two things:

Go to your userinfo page or the main LJ page, and in the upper right-hand corner, there are two boxes. In the blank one, type in earrings, or beaded earrings, or beadwork, or whatever. In the second one, pull the menu down until you hit "Interest", select that, and then hit search or go or whatever it is, I can't remember. And see what turns up.
