Heh. Ok, that's a lousy idea in gameplay but a really good idea for a character.

And the god thing probably wouldn't work, sadly. This world doesn't really have any gods, or at least the inhabitants don't believe in 'em.
It just occured to me--both the ranger and the druid are allowed to use spells. But those are nature spells...
