Pot doesn't make you crazy. It just enhances natural crazy, both good and bad.

Booze makes you stupid, but before it does so, it turns you into Winston Churchill.

Cough syrup lets you meet god or at least a reasonable facsimile, and also would turn that excellent drawing into a vanity-top mirror.
