let's have a party, there's a full moon in the sky

My poor dear tender lumplings, you have been deprived of my Internet presence, and will be for the next few days. I have barely had time to compulsively LiveJournal as I normally do for the past few days because of my busy, busy schedule. I've got German, I've got a SF class paper due on an article about dystopias (I picked a David Brin article; I've haven't read any of his books yet, but the man can opine like no other), and I've got six new movies to watch:

Dr. Mordid (thank you [livejournal.com profile] dr_ninjapants)
The Bride of Frankenstein
Bubba Ho-Tep
Ginger Snaps
Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (only because it has Crispin in it)
Cannibal: The Musical

Video Land is good to me.

So as I sit here tonight preparing to go to Rocky Horror Picture Show with Kathryn (I am dressing in a Brad-ish fashion because I have no other possible things to dress up as), I wish you happiness and a spooky Halloween. Go out and egg some houses. I will rejoin you on All Saint's Day, with a little dribble about my NaNoWriMo, a possible breathless retelling of my weekend, and--if you are very very lucky--questions answered.

Great movies! I loved Bubba Ho-Tep! Bruce Campbell was fantastic as Elvis, I barely recognized him. I didn't realize Cannibal was out already. After you watch, could you post a few words? Thanks!
